Z wants to make paying for your selections as easy as finding them. To do that, we offer customers five convenient ways to pay for their purchases - by credit card, or by check, PayPal, Venmo or ACH.
Z accepts most major credit cards, including VISA, MasterCard, Novus/Discover & American Express.
Z is happy to accept both personal and certified checks. If you prefer to pay by check, please note that your order will not be processed until your check has cleared. Please mail checks to our address above. For paypal customers send the money to email@example.com
Returns If you are not satisfied with your order, Z will gladly help you find another piece that you do love. Returns are accepted within 14 days for store credit. Please note that returned products must be in the original packaging so we can expediate your credit quickly and easily for you, Products not in original packages and new condition will be refused. Special orders where custom fabrics or colors are selected are non-refundable. Bedding and linens are also non-refundable and can't be exchanged. All returns are subject to round trip shipping charges. If your item was shipped "Free Shipping," we will charge our "actual" outbound shipping charges. For all orders, Z Furniture can not offer any credits or refunds beyond 30 days after you receive your order. Due to health concerns, all mattresses including futon mattresses do not quality for returns.
Government Orders We accept Government purchase orders and credit cards (Smart Credit Card). We have a CCR number and we are SAM registered. Many of our factories are on the GSA schedule. We are also designated certified small business- SWAM - in the State Of Virginia.
Delivery Services Occasionally we offer free delivery. This offer is valid only in the Washington DC Metro Area. All other states please call or email us for exact delivery cost. SHIPPING COST TO BE QUOTED. These costs will not be reflected in your shopping cart. When you have placed an order we will respond with an email stating the shipping costs. You will have to reply to accept the charge so we can finalize the order. Your Card will NOT be charged unless you confirm the order. Delivery time ranges from 1 to 4 weeks depending on the item ordered. You will be notified of the exact time once you place your order. You can also call us at 703-941-5042 to inquire about delivery time for a specific item. Freight Delivery is available for Curb-Side Drop-off (Large Items). For an extra fee, furniture may be delivered into the house, Unpacked, please inquire. On all freight orders (larger items) , the shipping company will contact you when they arrive in your town to arrange a time and date for delivery. The delivery drivers are not insured to bring your merchandise into the home. Please make all necessary arrangements to assist with the delivery of your items.
International Orders: If your address is other than in USA or Canada, you have to provide us with the name of your freight handler. Your freight handler can pick up your order from our Alexandria, Virginia warehouse. You are responsible to pay freight shipping charges directly to your freight handler.
Policies and FAQ 1. How soon will I receive my merchandise?
Although most items are in stock, they do not usually ship within 24 hours. Many of our products require careful inspection and extensive packing. We understand that you are eager to get your beautiful furniture, but we feel protecting your investment is just as important. Many items are delivered within 7 to 21 days, and you will be notified of any delays.
2. How do you prepare my merchandise to prevent damage?
All merchandise is inspected prior to shipping. Everything is corner protected, put in boxes, placed on shipping pallets and shrink-wrapped. We also have special handling agreements with all of our carriers.
3. What do I do if my merchandise arrives damaged?
In the unfortunate event that your merchandise arrives with damage, please note the damage on the delivery ticket and contact Z Furniture at once. Please do not refuse delivery of an entire shipment due to damage to a particular item. This will delay replacement of any damaged merchandise.
4. What insurance policies do you offer?
Freight companies insure all items for standard $1.50 per LB. Please note that unless you purchase actual value insurance (5% of purchase price) you will be responsible for filing any claims and collecting from the freight company directly. Please note that unless you address any damage on the driver's delivery ticket, the carrier may not accept the claim. Unless supplemental insurance is purchased, Z Furniture has no liability for the merchandise once it leaves our docks. If your merchandise needs to be replaced, you would pay for a new item and then collect from the freight company. WE HIGHLY SUGGEST SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE AS ALL ITEMS WILL BE FIXED OR REPLACED AT NO COST TO YOU.
5. Can I use my own carrier?
Yes, many customers choose to use their own local carriers.
